For the month of April, our focus of topic will be on homework. Throughout the month, weekly tips will be provided in order to better help our students not only complete their homework, but be accurate with it as well. Please take a moment to check our Website/Facebook page throughout the week and read through each posting as it could be very useful for all students.

Spring testing is fast approaching! MSTEP testing (Grades 3-8) begins Monday, April 9th along with our quarterly assessment, NWEA MAP following on May 7th. As we end the last week of March, our Student Service Coordinator Ms. Robinson has provided us with a few tips that can better help your child achieve during testing.

Important Upcoming Dates in April

Due to the weather, today's flag football tryouts has been CANCELLED and RESCHEDULED for Wednesday, April 11th from 3:35pm-5:00pm.

Good morning Parents,

DEAW will be open today however, the 5th-8th grade Honors assembly and Parents with Pastries have been canceled.

DEAW did NOT receive any threats but we're exercising caution to ensure or students and staff remain safe.

Today is report card day! All students in attendance today received their report cards at the end of the school day. Whether you’re pulling it out of a backpack or pulling it up on a Power School, there’s a moment of anticipation and maybe even dread. Indeed parents seem obligated to use the report card moment as a pep talk. But experts caution this may not be the right approach.
