First Grade

Hi! My name is Ms. Riehl and I am so excited to be part of the First Grade team! More importantly I am THRILLED to be your teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. I want to know ALL about you, but first I’m going to tell you a few things about me.

I graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Early Education. I’ve taught 1^st grade for 14 years and 2^nd grade for 3 years. This will be my 18^th year of teaching and I love first grade because I know just where you’re coming from and exactly where you need to go!

I have a 15 year old daughter starting the 11^th grade this year. She’s an honor roll student, runs track, and is part of the social circle at her school. She is my pride and joy and I love her to death. I also have two cats named Smokey and Phoebe.
