First Grade

Hi! My name is Ms. Riehl and I am so excited to be part of the First Grade team! More importantly I am THRILLED to be your teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. I want to know ALL about you, but first I’m going to tell you a few things about me.

I graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Early Education. I’ve taught 1st grade for 14 years and 2nd grade for 3 years. This will be my 18th year of teaching and I love first grade because I know just where you’re coming from and exactly where you need to go!

I have a 15 year old daughter starting the 11th grade this year. She’s an honor roll student, runs track, and is part of the social circle at her school. She is my pride and joy and I love her to death. I also have two cats named Smokey and Phoebe.
